Nej, ni ser inte fel. Detta är samma älskvärda Londonsvenskar, men uppgraderat och helt ombyggt från grunden. Nu finns det ännu fler möjligheter att få kontakt med andra Londonbor - svenskar som engelsmän. Få bra tips, skriva egna artiklar och sidor, skapa egna grupper, chatta live, planera fester, ladda upp filer och foton och ja - vi kan alla göra Londonsvenskar till en helt fantastisk plats.
Sedan starten 2003 har Londonsvenskar vuxit varit ganska statiskt med envägsriktad kommunikation från oss till er, men i dagens sociala webb är det ohållbart. Vi sitter allihop på sådan nyttig kunskap, som innan gömdes undan i sidovis med inlägg i vårt forum.
Om ni saknar originalforumet, häng inte läpp. Den kommer finnas kvar som ett testament till det hårda arbete många av våra medlemmar har lagt ner på att svara på frågor, gnälla, skälla och vara dryga (ni vet vilka ni är). Forumet är dock låst för ytterligare inlägg, och inga registreringar på forumet kommer göras.
Alla artiklar har flyttats över, men nu med en ytterligare funktion som gör att om ni stöter på något fel eller missvisande information - bara redigera texten, eller diskutera innehållet direkt på sidan. Givetvis är det fritt fram att skapa sina egna sidor, eller en egen blogg om ditt liv utomlands. Vårt forum har ersatts av grupper, där man kan starta diskussioner om precis vad som helst inom temat för gruppen. Om du har en idé för en ny grupp, så bara skapa en för att få kontakt med andra med samma intresse. Chattfunktionen tar över från alla långa inlägg i forumet där konversationen spårat ur tidigare och låter oss admins och moderatorer prata direkt med er användare.
Jag hoppas ni kommer tycka om nya Londonsvenskar, men det kan fortfarande finnas lite buggar här och var, så skicka oss gärna er feedback.

Hi! I'm a Swedish 19 year old girl who are looking for a live-in au pair position. I'm currently in London so I am able to meet for interviews any time during the day.

You are correct, this site is available in English now. The site has been upgraded and rebuilt from the ground up. Now there are even more opportunities to get in contact with other Londoners - swedes and londoners alike. Get advice, write your own articles and pages, create groups, chat live, plan parties, upload files and photos. We can all make Londonsvenskar to a fantastic place on the web.
Since the humble beginnings in 2003, Londonsvenskar has grown, but appeared to be fairly static with one way communication from us to you. In todays social web, this is just not acceptable. We all have knowledge and information, that earlier was hidden away in the pages of our forum.
If you miss the original forum, don't fret, luv. The forum is still here as a testament to the hard work and time dedicated by our members as they spent many a working day answering questions, whining, yelling and generally being a pain in the but for some people. The forum will be locked down, and no new registrations or posts will be added.
All our articles have been moved over to our new service, but with an extra function of that if you encounter outdated information or unclear information, just feel free to edit the text, or discuss the content straight on the page (all at the writers discression of course). You can even create your own pages, or start a blog about your life abroad. Why not link in your current blog and save some time?
The forum has been replaced by our group feature, where you can start discussions within the theme of the group. You can also upload files and photos, or add events to your calendar. If you have an idea for a group not represented, then just create a new one, to connect with other people. And finally: a chat function to remove the need for lengthy conversations off-topic in the forum. We can also all talk directly, admins, moderators and members alike.
I hope you will like the new Londonsvenskar - but there might still be a few bugs lurking in the system, so please send us your feedback.
